About Us:

Baytown Blue Santa is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit program founded by Baytown Logistics Officer, Corporal Gallop with help from his family, officers of the Baytown Police Department and support from the Baytown Municipal Police Association. Each year, Baytown Blue Santa provides children of families in need with wrapped Christmas gifts and other needed household items, so the children in these families can experience the magic and joy of the Christmas season.

Baytown Blue Santa has been providing 100’s of families in Baytown with assistance each year since the 1970’s but didn’t become an official Non-profit charity till 2010.  Blue Santa’s success would not be possible without the support and donations from the local community and businesses each year.

The Baytown Blue Santa program accepts applications for assistance starting in late October. The applications are reviewed and qualifying families receive assistance.

The number of families that can be helped depends on the number of donations and contributions the program receives from its donors. After the applications are reviewed, the Blue Santa board determines the families to be helped.

Some of the gifts are delivered to the families by employees of the city of Baytown and other volunteers on the designated delivery day. Some applicants will be asked to pick up their presents.
